Putin’s Ally Dead After Falling Three Stories

(RepublicanDaily.org) – Russia seems to be dealing with a spate of deaths of a number of its most prominent personalities under mysterious circumstances.

The latest fatality is reported to be 46-year-old Vladimir Egorov, who is described as a close ally and strong supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Egorov, a member of Putin’s ruling political party, United Russia, was found dead after apparently falling from the third story of his home, located in Tobolsk, which in turn is in the western Siberian region of the Tyumen Oblast in Russia.

Police discovered Egorov’s body on December 27, 2023, and are still investigating what might have caused his death or fall. 72.ru, a Russian news outlet, has speculated that Egorov, who reportedly suffered from “heart problems” might have had some sort of attack, causing him to fall out of his house’s window on the third floor.

Multiple news outlets have attempted to reach out to Russian authorities, but so far, no concrete cause of death has been established.

Egorov, who served as Committee on Land Relations and Forestry head for Tobolsk from 2007 to 2014, was involved in a corruption scandal, and in 2016, was sentenced to correctional labor, but was eventually cleared of all charges.

Strangely enough, several other prominent Russian figures have met their deaths in falls in recent months. In June last year, 28-year-old Kristina Baikova, a vice president of a Russian bank who became popular for her glamorous lifestyle, plummeted to her death from her 11th floor apartment in Moscow. Earlier still in February last year, Marina Yankina, a senior officer in Russia’s military, died after supposedly jumping off her 16th floor unit in a high-rise apartment building in St. Petersburg. In 2022, Ravil Maganov, the chairman of Lukoil, a major Russian oil company, fell to his death from the 6th floor of a hospital in Moscow.
