Chinese Citizen Arrested for Trespassing at Mar-a-Lago Has Shocking Trump Assassination Claim

A Bizarre Turn of Events at Trump’s Florida Fortress

Well, folks, just when you thought the circus surrounding Mar-a-Lago couldn’t get any wilder, along comes a Chinese citizen with a secret to tell and the brazenness to step foot on Trump’s property. It seems the former president’s Florida retreat has become a magnet for international intrigue, and this latest incident is raising eyebrows across the nation.

The Trespasser and His Explosive Claims

A Chinese citizen named Zijie Li, 38, from El Monte, California, was arrested after repeatedly attempting to access Mar-a-Lago. Li’s reason for his persistent efforts? He claimed to possess documents linking the Chinese government to the July 13 assassination attempt on Donald Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Li’s first attempt to reach Mar-a-Lago occurred on July 19, when he approached the estate’s main gate in a gray Toyota Prius. He told Secret Service agents about his alleged documents, but was turned away. Undeterred, Li made subsequent attempts on July 22 and 30, despite being warned for trespassing.

Trump’s Whereabouts and Security Measures

During Li’s attempts to enter Mar-a-Lago, former President Trump was not present at the property. In fact, he was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, attending the Republican National Convention. However, Trump was scheduled to return to Mar-a-Lago that weekend, prompting increased security measures.

“Temporary flight restrictions are scheduled to go into effect at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, lasting through 10:45 p.m. August 9, for ‘VIP movement’ in an area with Mar-a-Lago as its center, according to the notice posted Thursday.” – Federal Aviation Administration notice

Legal Proceedings and Past Incidents

Li now faces a misdemeanor trespassing charge and is being held on a $10,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for August 5. The judge has issued a no-contact order, prohibiting Li from contacting Trump, anyone associated with him or his campaign, and from entering Mar-a-Lago property.

“Li faces one count of trespassing after being warned. He is being held at the Palm Beach County jail on a $10,000 bond.” – Palm Beach County court

This incident is not the first of its kind at Mar-a-Lago. In 2019, another Chinese citizen was arrested for attempting to access the property under false pretenses. These recurring incidents highlight the ongoing security challenges faced by the former president’s Florida residence.
