(RepublicanDaily.org) – A former domestic terrorist has been revealed to have sent donations to the campaigns of Democratic New York Representative Jerry Nadler and a number of other prominent left-wing politicians, such as New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar.
According to campaign contribution disclosures, former left-wing terrorist Susan Rosenberg donated $1,000 to Nadler’s campaign in 2021, and along with Ocasio-Cortez and Omar’s campaigns, she also sent money to the election efforts of Democratic Representatives Cori Bush of Missouri, Summer Lee of Pennsylvania, and Jamaal Bowman of New York. This particular group of legislators are also referred to as the “Squad,” the far-left and ultra-progressive faction of the Democrats.
Rosenberg was part of the notorious May 19th Communist Organization and Weather Underground, which were ultra-radical pro-communist groups that subscribed to Marxist and Leninist socialist ideology that were particularly active in the 80s. The group, Rosenberg included, were responsible for firebombing Senate offices in 1983 in attempt to spark an “armed revolution” aimed at overthrowing the government of the United States.
The groups Rosenberg belongs to were particularly violent, and were known to perpetuate violent acts against law enforcement officers, according to the FBI. The May 19th group was also responsible for bombing attacks against the National War College, the Israeli Aircraft Industries Building, South African consulate, and the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association in New York.
Rosenberg received 58-year prison sentence in 1988 for various crimes she perpetrated while with, and for the sake of those groups. At the time of her arrest, she was found to be in possession of more than 600 pounds of explosives and machine guns intended for use in terror attacks. She was also implicated, but never tried, for the murder of two New York City police officers and a security guard during the course of an armed robbery of a Brinks armored truck in in 1981.
Rosenberg received a presidential pardon in 2001 from then-president Bill Clinton after an intense campaign towards that end led by Nadler.
