(RepublicanDaily.org) – During his tenure as president, Donald Trump managed to foster friendlier relations with North Korea than we had seen in a long time. However, it looks like President Joe Biden might be struggling in this area.
On Tuesday, March 16, Air Force General Glen VanHerck issued a stark warning about military activities currently underway in the small Asian nation. VanHerck, who is head of the US military’s Northern Command, stated that North Korea may be about to begin testing a newly designed intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
A U.S. Air Force General is warning that North Korea may test improved ICBMs:
-Glen VanHerck issued a written statement on Tuesday
-Says that threat levels from the DPRK have risen
-Cited Pyongyang no longer being bound to 2018 moratoria on testinghttps://t.co/0Pe2AZ9HyE

This would be the first test of its kind since Joe Biden entered the White House. North Korean leaders often try to put on a show of force like this soon after the inauguration of a first-term president, ostensibly as a challenge to the new American leader.
It’s not yet possible to confirm if this testing is actually set to take place; VanHerck’s assertions do not appear to be based on specific intelligence. If it does happen, it could mark a sharp deterioration in relations between Pyongyang and Washington, D.C.
