Trump to Attend RNC Spring Donor Summit

(RepublicanDaily.org) – The speculation around former President Donald Trump’s continued involvement in politics has raged since his departure from the White House. More recently, it’s become apparent he intends to maintain an active role within the GOP. He met with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) earlier this month to discuss party strategy going forward.

On Monday, February 22, Politico reported that the former president is set to attend the Republican National Committee’s spring donor retreat. The event is scheduled to take place in Palm Beach, FL, from April 9-11. Its precise location has not been disclosed, but according to Politico, it’s been confirmed that the event will not be at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. His attendance at the retreat is expected to attract well-known GOP donors.

Ronna McDaniel, the chair of the RNC, has stated the committee will remain neutral on the topic of presidential candidates for 2024. A number of GOP leaders will be in attendance at the event, including Trump, Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL), and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
