Trump Leads Biden in 2024 Presidential Forecast Poll

( – As Americans prepare for the 2024 Presidential election, the likelihood of former President Donald Trump’s appointment to the Republican nomination is becoming more statistically likely. Popular polls also compare the former president with incumbent President Joe Biden. In a change from the early trajectory of the 2019 and 2020 presidential elections, Trump is leading over Biden in poll numbers. This followed a recent dip in Biden’s approval rating, which, as of May 7, had reached an “all-time low,” Politico reported.

The dip in Biden’s current approval rating has been attributed by political analysts to his advanced age. Biden is 80 years old. When he announced his re-election campaign, both Republicans and Democrats were skeptical of his re-election, noting that he would be 86 years old by the end of his second term, NPR News reported.

Despite criticism of his age, Biden has committed to a re-election campaign, renouncing critics and stating that he “feels fine.”

Donald Trump has been vocally critical of his Presidential race contenders from his Truth Social platform. On Truth Social, Trump posted national entity polls that have taken surveys of Biden’s approval rating, which had reached an all-time low of 36% of average polled Americans, a Post-ABC poll found, The Washington Post reported. Polls found that overall, 36% approve of Biden and 60% disapprove, Interactive Polls by Associated Press and the Washington Post stated.

Right-leaning media noted that President Trump had taken a “seven-point lead” to Biden in early May polling, Breitbart wrote. Political analysts noted that, if Trump should be re-elected over Biden in 2024, it would be historic. The re-election of a former president to a second term has not occurred since 1892, when the at-the-time former President Grover Cleveland was elected back into the office, historically becoming both the 22nd and 24th U.S. president.

Trump expressed his pride in his Make America Great Again campaign from Truth Social. On May 7, Trump stated on Truth Social that, in his view, there had “never been crowds” such as those that gathered for MAGA, as well as that there had “never been rallies” that could compare with the Trump rally.
