(RepublicanDaily.org) – The decades-long conflict between Israel and Palestine has reignited in deadly fashion over the last few days. After Palestinian extremist group Hamas launched rocket attacks on Tel Aviv and Beersheba, Israeli forces responded in kind, firing hundreds of rockets at Gaza.
Pressure is growing on the United States to step in as a mediator. Thus far, the Biden administration has failed to take action.
On Tuesday, May 11, former President Donald Trump slammed his successor for his approach to the crisis. In a statement, he referred to his own time in office as the “Peace Presidency” due to the protection Israel enjoyed from the aggressors surrounding it. He claimed Joe Biden’s “weakness and lack of support for Israel” was endangering our ally.
