(RepublicanDaily.org) – President Biden has attracted a lot of political flak for his various environmental initiatives. While Liberals insist these moves are necessary to cut emissions, critics have pointed to the thousands of jobs they’re costing, both directly and indirectly. There are also concerns around the affordability of energy.
On Wednesday, March 24, 13 states filed a lawsuit against the administration. The suit seeks to reverse the January 27 executive order halting oil and gas leasing on federal waters and lands. According to the plaintiffs, the ban on leasing through the Mineral Leasing Act and the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act is unlawful and in violation of administrative procedure rules. Wyoming also filed a lawsuit against the administration.
President Biden has also been sued by 21 states for his executive order shutting down work on the Keystone XL pipeline.
Congress “set specific rules regarding what actions the President can take about Keystone XL & when. President #Biden, together with various senior executive officials, violated those rules.”https://t.co/9eayOP0xcq

Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry announced the most recent lawsuit in his home state on Wednesday. Landry stated that Biden’s executive order would only serve to drive up energy prices and hurt the American middle class. He went on to allege it would ultimately make us reliant on foreign energy, often from countries that “despise America’s greatness.”
