(RepublicanDaily.org) – A survey completed Tuesday, October 20, shares a number of details about how Americans view the upcoming election. The study shows a majority of Americans, on both sides of the political aisle, are ready to accept the outcome of the election regardless of who wins.
The survey tells us 79% of the country will peacefully accept a Biden victory, which includes 59% of Trump supporters. On the other side of the spectrum, 73% of likely voters would peacefully accept Trump winning. However, out of those who said they would not support a Trump win, 22% said they would consider taking some action to challenge the result. This might include public protest or even acts of violence.
These statistics are highly relevant in the context of ongoing doubt about the integrity of the mail-in voting system.

American politics are as divided in 2020 as they’ve ever been. While doubts about this year’s vote may persist, it’s good to see that the majority of people are willing to accept a fairly-elected president.
