National School Board Worked With the White House to Draft the Infamous Letter

(RepublicanDaily.org) – Parents across the country are facing issues with public schools like never before. They are battling to protect their children from the indoctrination of liberal dogma like Critical Race Theory (CRT) and fighting against mask mandates. In response to America’s parents, the National School Boards Association (NSBA) colluded with the White House and the Department of Justice (DOJ) through Attorney General (AG) Merrick Garland to misuse laws like the Patriot Act to brand parents as “domestic terrorists.”

An October 12 memorandum sent by the NSBA president to local state associations stated a top priority for the group is the growing disruptions at local school board meetings and threats to their members. As a result, the group “has been actively engaged with the White House, Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security,” and others. It also discloses a September 14 meeting with White House staff regarding preparations to send the now infamous letter to President Joe Biden.

Further, the letter claims that as a result, Garland issued a memo directing the FBI, along with the various United States Attorneys, to meet with “federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial leaders” to discuss strategies for dealing with the problem. The NSBA later apologized for the letter, reportedly stating there was no justification for saying some actions were “the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism,” and has removed it from its website.

Regardless of the retraction, Garland continues to defend his memo and has refused calls by Republican senators to walk back his directives.
