Nancy Pelosi Crosses the Line in Her Latest Comments

Pelosi Says Trump Isn’t “Man Enough” To Testify

(RepublicanDaily.org) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has launched a new attack on former President Donald Trump. Pelosi took the chance to taunt Trump about his subpoena from the January 6 Committee, casting doubts on his manhood. Is this politics or just provocation?

Pelosi discussed the recent subpoena issued against Trump by the House Select Committee when she talked to MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart on October 23. The Committee has called Trump to appear for a sworn deposition, as well as to supply a range of documents. Capehart asked Pelosi if she thought the former president would appear for the deposition. To his obvious surprise, Pelosi replied, “I don’t think he is man enough to show up.”

Pelosi expanded on the comment, saying Trump’s lawyers won’t want him to appear because he would have to give evidence under oath. Capehart then asked what it would mean if he refuses to appear; she said the public should assume “he thinks he is above the law.”

Pelosi obviously doesn’t know whether Trump will appear before the Committee or not, so at best, she’s speculating. At worst, she’s trying to provoke some kind of outburst from him in the last days before the midterm elections.

Is publicly questioning an opponent’s manhood a legitimate political issue, or has the speaker taken her personal dislike of Trump too far this time?
