Greg Gutfeld Comes To Tucker Carlson’s Defense and Goes Viral

( – The current king of late night — no, not Stephen Colbert — Fox News host Greg Gutfeld, has come to the defense of his former network colleague Tucker Carlson after several behind-the-scenes clips of him were leaked to the media this week. According to the Daily Wire, Gutfeld headed over to Twitter on May 4, 2023, where he issued a response to a new clip that was shared by Media Matters for America, which he referred to as “casual comments” between two people who work together.

Media Matters posted in the tweet that accompanies the video that Tucker asked a makeup artist if there were ever pillow fights in the women’s bathrooms, which the organization seems to insinuate is a perverse and inappropriate comment, rather than a joke.

Gutfeld then snapped back by delivering trademark snarkiness in the following tweet, writing: “Imagine having to tell your parents that your job is narcing on the casual comments of other people while they, happily unaware, make a living. Your parents would be so embarrassed and ashamed they’d rather tell their friends you died in a fire.”

At the time of the report, the response from Gutfeld had received a whopping 2.5 million views.

According to MSN, Gutfeld also defended Carlson by referring to those criticizing Carlson as being hall monitors who didn’t understand banter being exchanged in the clips that were leaked to the media.

Some of the clips in question that seem to have greatly offended people of the left, individuals who probably already hated Carlson well before this incident, contained some slightly inappropriate jokes about adult topics. While they may seem mild to some, it’s well known that in this day and age, a simple joke is all it takes for one to be cancelled.

Carlson, the most popular host with the most watched program on the Fox News network, was officially cut from the company back on April 24, 2023, according to Newsmax. He has since received several job offers from other right-leaning networks, including Valuetainment, TheBlaze, One America News Network, and others.

As of this writing, Carlson himself has not given any indications what his next move might be.
