GOP Rep Confirms Trump as Frontrunner

(RepublicanDaily.org) – Representative Elise Stefanik (R.Ny), the House Republican Conference Chairwoman, called Trump’s performance in the Siena University New York Crosstabs poll a “freight train” that was “moving full speed ahead,” Breitbart reported. In Stefanik’s view, Trump is the clear contender for the Republican nomination in the 2024 election.

Seven other candidates reportedly remain in the 2024 election race, dividing the remaining percentage of the polls. However, at the time of this report, Trump had a lead in popular political polls, with a 62% lead in Interactive Polls. Trump’s leading contender, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, was measured in Interactive Polls as 17% while all the other candidates only brought in single-digit percent marks.

Former President Donald Trump is active in his campaign. Taking to Truth Social media, Trump has shared a post made by Clay Higgins that highlighted how the other candidates announcing GOP nominations were all soon to release books. In Higgins’s view, if the other candidates “conduct themselves like gentlemen” then perhaps Trump would “sign” these books following his hypothetical inauguration in 2025. Higgins went on to say that, were Trump to autograph the books, they may “be worth owning.”

In a similar competitive fashion, Trump pointed out the endorsements for DeSantis, which did not hold up, Newsweek reported. Reportedly DeSantis “lost a proxy war” to the former president.

In addition to his aggressive competitive strategies, Trump has also highlighted a list of new policy proposals to instate if he were elected again, NBC News reported. These reportedly included the idea of building 10 new American cities on federal land, tent cities for homeless people, enforcing criminal prosecution on juvenile offenders, elections for school principals, and more. The new Trump agenda has reportedly been dubbed “Agenda 47.”

Trump’s new campaign tactics have been met with political criticism. Nearly 18 months before votes are counted, he has “alleged election interference,” Newsweek wrote. Trump has been critical on social media of the findings of the Durham Report, the over 300-page report by Special Counsel John Durham which found that the FBI conducted a “severely flawed” investigation into Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 Presidential election cycle.
