(RepublicanDaily.org) – The CDC issued a new set of COVID-19 management guidelines for fully vaccinated people earlier this month. The first of these states that those who have received inoculations can “[resume] activities without wearing masks or physically distancing.” However, that doesn’t appear to be clear enough for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who is still requiring all representatives to wear face coverings on the House floor.
Last week, Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) was one of a number of GOP lawmakers to protest the continuation of the rule by refusing to wear a mask during a voting session. At the time, Mast was quoted as saying it was the “best $500 [he] ever spent,” referring to the fine attached to the offense.
Now, however, it appears Mast has changed tack. On Monday, May 24, he announced he was challenging the fine on the ground it was “unlawful and unscientific.”
Today, I am formally appealing Speaker Pelosi’s UNLAWFUL and UNSCIENTIFIC $500 mask fine.

There’s currently no rule in relation to masks in the Senate. Why is Nancy Pelosi determined to enforce this rule in the House for so long?
