(RepublicanDaily.org) – The Biden administration has made no secret of its position on vaccination; it wants as many people as possible to get the shot. However, with natural immunity levels rising, many Americans are wondering whether they really need to get third and fourth booster shots. Regardless, Dr. Anthony Fauci seems to think additional jabs might be a good idea.
On Wednesday, February 9, Fauci held a press briefing with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky. In response to a question about whether health experts will recommend a fourth dose of vaccine for all Americans, Fauci said he was considering this as a possibility.
The doctor claimed the clinical data was not yet advanced enough to determine whether people would need a fourth dose. However, Fauci said experts were observing closely to see how well subjects were responding to their third doses, adding that they might recommend further boosters on that basis. He added that advanced age and underlying medical conditions might be relevant factors, as would the type of vaccines patients initially received.

Recent clinical trial data emerging from Israel reveals that fourth doses of existing vaccines weren’t as effective at fighting off the Omicron variant as hoped, so it makes one wonder why it would even be considered here in the US.
Will you get further booster doses if public health experts recommend them?
