Bill Gates Claims Businesses Will “Sadly” Have to Stay Closed for Months

Bill Gates Claims Businesses Will

( – Following the FDA’s grant of Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine last week, many people have begun looking forward to the end of the pandemic. Of course, others have jumped at the opportunity to pour scorn on this optimism.

Predictably, one of the leading members of the latter group is none other than Microsoft Founder Bill Gates. On Sunday, December 13, Gates appeared on CNN for an interview with Jake Tapper. He shared his view that the next 4-6 months of the pandemic would be some of the worst yet, with widespread closures of bars and restaurants. He went on to state the virus would continue to make restriction of movement necessary until 2022.

As many have pointed out, it’s easy for Bill Gates to pass these kinds of comments when he has a net worth of $118 billion. His views are unlikely to find much approval with the millions of Americans edging closer to poverty every day because of lockdowns and other restrictions.
