Biden's Campaign Manager Doubles Back on Biden's Call for Unity

( – The concept of “unity” featured heavily in Joe Biden’s bid for election this year. In his speech on Monday, December 14, he expressed hope that America could “unite [and] heal” in the coming years, while also ruthlessly attacking President Donald Trump at every turn and one of his top advisers has let conservative voters know what the campaign really thinks.

Biden’s campaign manager, Jen O’Malley Dillon, echoed the fairytale during a Tuesday interview with Glamour magazine. She stated Biden was able to connect with voters “over this sense of unity.” Of course, it didn’t take long for the mask to slip.

In the same interview, O’Malley Dillon described Republicans as “a bunch of fu**ers.” Clearly, the “unity” she’s referring to doesn’t apply to conservative voters (who account for roughly half the country’s population).

Figures like Biden and O’Malley Dillon saying things they don’t mean to win political points is nothing new. However, they’re usually somewhat more careful than to contradict themselves as obviously as this. It’s hard to tell whether this reflects O’Malley Dillon’s incompetence or just her sheer lack of respect for the electorate.
