Biden Withdraws Trump Immigration Proposal

( – You would think, given the immigration crisis that’s been spiraling out of control for several weeks, that President Joe Biden might be considering a new strategy when it comes to border policy. However, it appears the underlying objective of every move he makes is simply to undo the work of former President Donald Trump.

On Monday, May 10, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced the withdrawal of a Trump-era proposal on deportation. Last November, Trump proposed a revision of DHS regulations allowing work permits for illegal immigrants with a final order of removal from the US. The revocation of this proposal means employment authorization can continue to be granted to individuals in this position.

According to Jessica Vaughan, who works with the Center for Immigration Studies, more than 25,000 work permits were granted to illegal aliens who were subject to removal orders in 2019. Some of these, Vaughan claims, are “criminals who can’t be deported because their home country refuses to take them back.”

When will Joe Biden wake up to the fact that his radical immigration policies are putting American families at risk?
