Is Joe Biden REPLACING Americans? – Labor Controversies Continue
(RepublicanDaily.org) – President Joe Biden has made no secret of his views on immigration into the United States; he thinks it’s something to be encouraged. Despite major issues around illegal migration from Central and South America, Biden refuses to backtrack on his laissez-faire immigration enforcement policies. Now, the president is boasting about the number of foreign nationals currently occupying jobs in the US.
Biden made the remarks during a joint press conference with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on Tuesday, July 12. He told reporters his administration had set the record for the issuance of H-2 and H-3 visas to Mexican workers, approving 300,000. He added that the number of these visas going to Central Americans was at a 5-year high and continuing to rise.

A recent study from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) found the number of “employable” Americans exceeded the number of job openings by over three million. The Center for Immigration Studies recently published findings that the unemployment rate among American-born individuals in the United States has risen across all 50 states in the last 20 years or so. Working-class Americans, who are most at risk from competition from immigrants, have contributed to this trend the most.
Do you think this is a positive development, or should the Biden administration focus on creating jobs for Americans first?
